Symposium

43rd Annual AYHC Symposium
Gainesville, Florida

The American Horse Youth Council has hosted an annual Symposium for 43 years. An annual highlight for horsemen and women, this event brings together youth and youth leaders from all facets of the equine industry for three days of presentations, education, discussion, exhibits, awards, and networking.

The 43rd Annual AYHC Symposium will take place in Gainesville Florida with tours in Ocala, the "Horse Capital of the World".  The event will feature many nationally and internationally respected teachers and clinicians from across the United States.

Join the nation’s most diverse group of horse oriented youth leaders, representing breed associations, equine sports organizations, cooperative extensions, universities, 4-H, FFA, and more. Learn and share what is happening in the youth equine industry through workshops, discussions, live horse demonstrations and networking.

The non-breed / discipline specific curriculum throughout the symposium offers equine knowledge that transfers from the book to the barn, providing take-home tools to teach youth about safe and effective horsemanship. Above all, the Symposium will connect you with resources, referrals, and networking to help kids connect through horses.
