The 2024 Youth Excellence Seminar is scheduled for July 9-11 in Amarillo, Texas.
The Youth Excellence Seminar (YES) welcomes AQHYA members and nonmembers, ages 10 to 18, to experience this three-day, fun-packed event that offers valuable leadership skills, inspiring speakers and AQHYA governance items.

YES Facts:
Anyone ages 10 to 18 can attend – current AQHYA members and nonmembers.
Youth will experience leadership development sessions and workshops, take part in a service activity, network with horse enthusiasts from around the world, and take inspiration from engaging keynote speakers.
Five AQHYA officers will be elected—president, first vice president, second vice president, member and member.
Regional directors will be elected—AQHYA has 11 regions; each region elects three AQHYA members as directors.
Keynote Speaker: Kiah Twisselman-Burchett
